Mandy believes every child is a unique treasure and approaches care with the utmost respect for their individuality and cultural background.

Outside of work and study, you will find Mandy with her primary-school-aged children and supportive husband, playing hockey or watching almost any sport.

Rebecca (Bo) O'Sullivan

PAEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Bo graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy from AUT in 2013 and has been lucky to gain experience in various specialties, working with premature infants through to 102-year-olds—and everything in between!

Her passion, however, has always been working with children, and for the last five years, she has developed her skill set in this area, both in acute hospital settings and in the community.

So what is Occupational Therapy?

Firstly, let’s define ‘occupation’ as not just a ‘job’, but everything we do from when we wake until we go to bed: showering, getting dressed, eating breakfast, going to school, playing sport - and let’s not forget the most important occupation of children: playing!

If someone has difficulty managing any of these activities due to illness, injury, developmental disability, chronic conditions, or other reasons, they would benefit from seeing an OT!

Bo prides herself on being a non-judgmental, solution-focused therapist. She is always happy to discuss the best options for supporting your child.

Outside work, you’ll probably catch Bo pounding the pavement on foot, climbing the Mount, or trekking the Kaimais in training for her next long-distance running event.
