Neurodevelopmental Support for Babies, Children, and Adolescents
Empowering every child’s potential through expert, individualised care.
At Nurture Paediatrics, we are dedicated to supporting babies, children, and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions through expert paediatric physiotherapy that meets each child where they are—while looking ahead to where they can go.
Our Neurodevelopmental Physiotherapy Service is designed to support children living with:
Cerebral Palsy
Congenital conditions
Chromosomal differences (including Down syndrome and rare genetic syndromes)
Developmental delays
Motor coordination challenges
Global developmental concerns
Expert-Led, Family-Centred Care
Led by experienced paediatric physiotherapist Abi, she provides warm, expert support backed by extensive experience across hospital, home, and community settings. Abi has worked alongside children with a wide range of abilities and presentations and is passionate about helping families feel supported, understood, and empowered.
Every child is unique. That’s why we develop individualised care plans based on your child’s strengths, developmental goals, and family priorities. Whether it’s sitting, crawling, walking, playing, or participating fully at school or in the community, our approach is holistic and respectful of every child’s journey.
Support beyond the clinic
We understand that therapy must fit within the rhythm of your family life. That’s why we offer:
Home visit options (depending on location and need)
Hydrotherapy- in warm water, children can explore movement more freely, build strength, improve balance, and gain confidence in a supportive and fun environment.
Tailored home-based programs to support ongoing progress
Support with funding applications (including ACC, CCS Disability Support, and Whaikaha/Ministry of Disabled People schemes)
Collaboration with your child’s wider team—including teachers, support workers, occupational therapists, and specialists
