At Nurture Paediatrics, we’re privileged to be surrounded by incredible healthcare practitioners who work alongside us—not as employees or contractors, but as independent professionals with their own unique businesses, expertise, and vision. Natarsha McEwan- Paediatric Dietitian

Natarsha is passionate about the area of paediatrics and gut health. Natarsha has been buidling her dietetic knowledge for the best part of 12 years in both the acute and community setting. She works in many areas of paediatric dietetics including: allergies, intolerances, inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, functional gut disorders, allergic proctocolitis, EoE, faltering growth, resricted eaters/eating disorders/ARFIDS and nutrition in special diets (vegan, vegetarian, dietarty restrictions).

Jean is an experienced Speech and Language Therapist offering services to children in the Tauranga area. Her practice, Words, is based in Omokoroa and Tauranga.

Jean qualified with a BSc Logopaedics from the University of Cape Town in 1990. Since then, she has helped hundreds of children develop and grow their communication and literacy skills. Jean has worked in a wide range of settings – first in South Africa, then the United Kingdom, and then with the New Zealand Ministry of Education for 18 years until she started her own practice in 2015.

Abi Sanford- Edcuational Psychology

Abi supports tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau to thrive. With a background in psychology, education, and youth mentoring, Abi blends theory with practical experience.

She uses strengths-based, evidence-informed approaches—like play-based therapy, CBT, and ACT—to empower each person. Abi creates a supportive space where everyone feels seen and equipped for life’s challenges.
