Online physiotherapy or occupational therapy sessions
Supporting Families Across Aotearoa
At Nurture Paediatrics, we believe that every child deserves access to high-quality, compassionate care—no matter where they live in Aotearoa New Zealand. That’s why we offer online (telehealth) physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions, designed to support tamariki and their whānau in their own homes, from Kaitaia to Bluff and everywhere in between.
Our friendly, experienced team are experts in helping children with movement, development, coordination, motor skills, sensory challenges, pain, recovery from injury, and much more. Whether your child needs help participating in play, managing pain, or meeting developmental milestones, we’re here to walk alongside you—virtually (telehealth).

✺ How Online Therapy Works
Online physiotherapy or online occupational therapy appointments are run via secure video calls. Just like an in-person visit, your child and family will connect with one of our therapists who will guide you through:
Observation and assessment of your child’s needs
Tailored advice, strategies, and home-based activities
Practical tools and ideas you can use straight away
Progress tracking and regular follow-up support
All you need is a device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone), a reliable internet connection, and a comfortable space for your child to move or play.

✺ What Are the Benefits of Telehealth?
Access from Anywhere – Whether you live rurally, are on the move, or can’t easily travel, our virtual services mean help is always within reach.
Family-Centred – We work directly with you in your child’s everyday environment, making therapy practical and relevant.
Less Disruption – No travel time, no waiting rooms. Therapy fits into your life.
Empowering Parents – We equip whānau with skills and strategies to support their child every day—not just during a session.

✺ Are There Any Limitations?
While many areas of physiotherapy and occupational therapy can be effectively supported online, some assessments or interventions may be better suited to in-person visits. If we feel your child needs hands-on assessment or support, we’ll work with you to find the best option, whether that’s a local referral or coordinating in-person care if possible.
Modern Care for Today’s Families
Healthcare is evolving, and so are we. Online therapy allows us to break down traditional barriers and meet families where they are—at home, in the classroom, or on the go. It’s care that’s flexible, responsive, and designed around your child’s real-world needs.
Let’s work together to support your child’s journey—wherever you are in Aotearoa.
