Qualifications & experience
Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Over a decade working in paediatric physiotherapy across public and private services in NZ and the UK
Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist, Birmingham Children’s Hospital (UK), previously
Experience in Child Development Services, acute hospital care, Education, ACC rehabilitation, and community‑based paediatrics
Practice focus
Early intervention and whānau‑centred care that fits daily life, school, and sport
Supporting pēpi and tamariki to achieve developmental milestones, from rolling to walking and beyond
Holistic rehabilitation after injury or illness, including neurological, orthopaedic, oncology, and neurodevelopmental care
Equitable, culturally safe care with practical strategies for parents and caregivers
Values in practice
Whakawhanaungatanga, building trusting relationships through shared stories and connection
Working collaboratively with whānau, health professionals, and educators for the best outcomes
Strengths‑based, playful therapy that brings confidence and fun to movement
Outside of work
Hayley loves time with friends and whānau and being outdoors. She is a proud mum to three young boys, who keep her on her toes.
